FRENCH ONION SOUP

I’d never been a huge fan of French onion soup until recently. I’ve always been lactose intolerant, so melty cheese–covered soup wasn’t really my style. My partner, Alex, however, has been to Paris and had the real version, so I knew I had a great recipe tester for this soup—and I really wanted to impress him! The verdict? He LOVED it. He didn’t think he’d ever be able to have the real thing again! This recipe will be a staple in our kitchen for years to come.
